Kate Galea, born in London, studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martin's University of the Arts.
She moved to Sydney with her wife in 2011 and they now call Redfern home.
Inspired by architecture, cityscapes and forgotten spaces her current work is a response to the rise of computer-generated artwork and the use of AI. She aims to explore the beauty of human achievement and imperfection through the creation of vibrant abstract works using geometric shapes and playful structures.
